Get your capacity back without dropping the standard.
A confidential six-month engagement for founders and senior leaders running real teams under real pressure. Built around the Grounded Leadership Diagnostic. By application only.
Most leaders I work with have already done the work on strategy and productivity. The team is functioning. The plan is moving. What is not moving is the inner cost.
The voice in your head that runs hotter than it used to. Decisions that take longer than they should. The relationships, at home and at work, absorbing the spillover from how you are operating.
This is the layer most coaching never touches. The one that, once it shifts, changes everything else.
You will leave with fewer internal loops, cleaner priorities, and a leadership posture that holds under pressure. The goal is simple: get your capacity back without dropping the standard.
Your current state across mental, emotional, and relational domains, captured in a single page you can re-read between sessions.
The priority themes we will work on, sequenced across the engagement, so you can see what is coming.
A short list of practices designed to fit your real week. Not an idealised one.
Less time spent looping on the same decisions. Faster prioritisation under pressure.
A more regulated baseline. Quicker recovery from the moments that used to derail your week.
At least one difficult conversation handled directly, with less avoidance and less performing.
An inner dialogue you actually trust when the stakes are high.
Noticeable change in what triggers you and how long it lingers.
Cleaner boundaries with people, tasks, and time. Less guilt tax. Less people-pleasing.
This engagement runs like a calm system, not a spiritual retreat. We start with a diagnostic and a baseline. We pick a small number of priorities that will move the whole board. We work them weekly, track progress monthly, and recalibrate when your real life changes, because it will.
Confidentiality terms, the goals you are bringing in, the constraints you are working under, and how we communicate between sessions.
The Grounded Leadership Diagnostic establishes a baseline across the three domains. The output is a one-page map of where you are now and what is most worth working on first.
We identify one to three priority themes that, once worked on, will move everything else. We do not try to fix everything at once.
Voice notes and email between sessions. Use it for friction in the moment, a hard conversation you are about to have, or a thought you want to think out loud. Response within one business day. Short-form support between sessions. Not therapy-by-text.
A simple monthly review against your baseline. We look at what is shifting, what is not, and where the friction has moved.
When reality changes, the priorities update. Travel, launches, board pressure, or something personal showing up. We re-set without losing the through-line.
Most coaching stays stuck in either performance tactics or personal history. This work integrates both, without turning your life into a therapy project.
The Grounded Leadership System is a calm operating system for high performers. It works across three domains: how you think, how you regulate, and how you relate. Each domain is mapped at the start, worked on through the engagement, and re-checked at the end.
The work draws on breathwork, somatic regulation, and shadow work. The format is practical. We are not building a meditation habit for its own sake. We are building the capacity to think clearly, recover quickly, and communicate honestly under the actual pressure of your role.
Three tiers exist below. They differ only in how much access you have to me between sessions. The deliverables are identical.
Bi-weekly cadence by default. Sessions run 60 to 75 minutes. Held privately, voice or video, your choice.
Run at three points: a baseline in week one, a recalibration at the end of month three, and an endline review at the end of month six. All confidential, read only by Pat.
Your current state across mental, emotional, and relational domains, captured in a single page you can re-read between sessions.
The themes we will work on, sequenced across the engagement, so you can see what is coming.
A short structured review against your baseline at the end of each month. Written, sent to you, kept private.
A working session at month three to update priorities when reality has changed. Travel weeks, board cycles, family weeks. We re-set without losing the through-line.
A short list of practices designed to fit your real week, not an idealised one.
Voice notes and email for in-the-moment friction, hard conversations, or thinking out loud. Response time depends on tier (see below).
Same core delivery in all three tiers. The tiers differ only in how often you can reach me between sessions, and how fast I respond. Pay-in-full, exclusive of VAT. Corporate invoicing available. Limited intake each quarter.
For senior leaders who want the work, the diagnostic, and the structure, with a measured rhythm and predictable contact. The lightest of the three tiers.
For founders and senior leaders ready for the standard engagement, with one-business-day responsiveness and ad-hoc support for in-the-moment friction.
For founders and CEOs who want a calm, consistent advisor reachable on short notice, with same-day response within business hours and priority on Pat's calendar.
All three tiers run for 6 months, with the same 12 private sessions, the same Grounded Leadership Diagnostic (private baseline), and the same monthly progress review. Payment plans available for private clients. By application only.
You can exit within the first 30 days of the start date if it is not the right fit. You are charged a pro-rated portion of the engagement fee for the time elapsed, and the remainder is refunded within 14 days. No drama, no negotiation. The best coaching relationships rely on honest fit, and this clause makes that honesty cheaper to act on.
One bi-weekly session of 60 to 75 minutes, plus one to two hours of work between sessions across the fortnight. Most clients fit this inside their existing schedule. Travel weeks and launch weeks are expected. The engagement is designed to flex around them.
Default. Anonymisation is the default for any public reference. Application material is read only by Pat. There is no mailing list and no shared notes. Corporate clients can review the standard engagement contract before signing.
Coaching, not clinical care. The work is practical, applied, and forward-looking. If you are in active crisis or processing recent trauma, see a clinician first. Coaching can come after.
Anyone looking for hype, motivation, or quick-fix mindset content. Anyone unable to protect time between sessions. Anyone who wants someone to tell them they are doing fine. Most leaders who fit this engagement already know they fit by the time they read this far.
Pat reads each application personally and responds by email within two business days. If it looks like a fit, a short call may follow before the engagement begins. Otherwise the response is honest, and fast. Limited intake each quarter.
Confidential. Read only by Pat. No mailing list. If it looks like a fit, you will hear back by email within two business days.
If your goal is facilitator training in conscious connected breathwork, Pat runs Journey the Breath, a six-month training delivered through a globally regarded school. Different path, different outcome.
Visit journeythebreath.comMost clients prefer that the work stays private, and so do I. Anonymisation is the default for any public reference, and the strongest case material is shared one-on-one rather than published. What follows is what is verifiable today.
The Grounded Leadership Diagnostic and the one-page private map are the structure every engagement runs on. The structure itself, visible above, is the process-level proof.
Private references available on request from prospective clients with a confirmed fit.
I've spent 15 years working in performance, leadership, and wellbeing. I'm the founder of The Journey of the Breathwork School and I've completed 1,000+ hours of breathwork training. I've written five best-selling books, built successful online and in-person businesses, and delivered 500+ keynotes worldwide, including TEDx. My work is trusted by companies around the world.
Outside of work, I train Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (brown belt) and I've completed eight high-altitude mountaineering expeditions. I've also visited 50+ countries while running my businesses. It's not a highlight reel. It's lived practice under pressure, over long time horizons, with real consequences.
The path of the work has been physical, then mental, then emotional, then relational. The first two books were in fitness. The next three are in mental fitness and inner work, featured below.
A practical guide to working with the parts of yourself you have learned to push down, and what becomes possible on the other side of that work.
An eight-week structure for working on the inner dialogue. Practical mental fitness, not motivational content.
The first book in the inner-work series. A clear guide to the small daily habits that, kept, change the shape of a life over time.
